Q: Will my vinyl stick to all surfaces?
A: Your vinyl lettering and graphics will adhere to most surfaces (lightly textured interior walls, glass, porcelain, metal), but will not adhere well to stucco or other roughly textured surfaces.

Q: How can I clean my vinyl?
A: Your vinyl can be carefully cleaned with a damp cloth. It will not become damaged from cleaning.

Q: How do I remove my vinyl?
A: When you are ready to remove your vinyl from your walls or other surfaces, gently pull it off with a pair of tweezers. Vinyl that has been in place for long periods of time may need to be slightly heated with a blow dryer before removing.

Q: Can I reuse my vinyl after removing it?
A: No. Once the vinyl has been used on one surface, it should not be removed and used again.

Q: What is an overlay?
A: The term "overlay" is used to describe a vinyl quotation that is applied over another one. For example, you may have the word "HOME" in 6 inch vinyl with the phrase "is where your story begins" in 3 inch vinyl on top. (When purchasing a quote with an overlay, you must order them separate, since they are generally 2 different sizes).

Q: Will I need to apply each letter of my quote individually?
A: No. Your lettering will come pre-spaced, so that you will be able to apply it all at once.

Q: How do I apply my vinyl?
A: Follow these simple steps to apply your vinyl:
1. Position your vinyl accurately, measuring from the actual vinyl rather than from the backing paper.
2. Use masking tape to tape the top corners of the paper to the surface you are applying the vinyl to.
3. Gently peel the transfer tape up from the backing paper, making sure that the vinyl lettering is coming up with it. (If it isn't, lay the transfer tape back down on the backing paper and rub it firmly until all of the vinyl comes up on the transfer tape.)
4. Pull the backing paper out from under the vinyl with the tape still holding your vinyl in place.
5. Lay the transfer tape and vinyl back onto your surface and rub firmly with a credit card.
6. Peel the transfer tape up making sure your vinyl is staying on the surface. (If the vinyl is coming up with the transfer tape, lay it back down and continue rubbing firmly with a credit card or other device until the vinyl sticks when the transfer tape is peeled off.)
